Hiking, all-in-one

TNHiking (for Télécom Nancy Hiking) is a program carried out in a group of 4 as part of the Project Design and Development (PCD) module of Télécom Nancy. All the difficulty of this project lies in the imposed deadline, which is only of 5 days to complete the whole subject!

This program allows you to view and manage the hikes you import into the program. The data is persistent, it is saved in a locally stored database. It is possible to view, delete, export, view details or bookmark a hike from the context menu.

Importing GPX routes is easier with fields' autocompletion. It is also possible to draw a new plot directly from the program by pressing the "Plot!" button. To confirm, simply press the button again.

A search bar makes it easy to find your hikes. You can also select various parameters to refine the search.

A web scraper was made to extract more than 14000 hikes from Visorando. The examples included in the download are taken from it.
