JVCSticker++

From a simple idea to a popular script

JVCSticker++ is a script mainly written in Javascript. It is born from the idea to hijack the preview (thumbnail) functionality already present on a forum to add stickers.

The script was provided in content by the community and count more than 4,400,000 uses for 2,998 stickers in only one year of uptime!

JVCSticker++ was originally written in a few days, but has undergone many changes over the course of various user requests. So, I integrated an update system, a history, a search and tags system, categories, request forms to add/remove/replace sticker and category, sounds played over some stickers, options and many other features.

I also developed an administration panel in order to manage requests more easily.

JVCSticker ++ has been gradually "replaced" by RisiBank, a version maintained by a small team of the forum. This team contacted me in order to offer me a place within their team. The end of the support is mainly due to time constraints, which led me to decline this proposal as well.
